Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals, which are Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH), French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC), and Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), are preparing to safely resume laboratory, interventional cardiology and radiology, and imaging services following guidance from national health officials and clinical associations.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, services were limited and hospital operations focused on emergent services and preparations for a possible surge of COVID-19 patients. In taking steps to resume various hospital and outpatient services, Dignity Health Central Coast is using criteria that is based on guidance from our local and state partners.

“We continue to take significant steps to ensure the safety and care of our patients, staff, and physicians,” says Chief Medical Officer Scott Robertson, MD. “In order to provide the best care during this pandemic, and despite moving forward on resuming some hospital operations, existing safety precautions like limiting visitation and universal masking for staff and patients will remain,” adds Robertson. “This will be a gradual process, with the most urgent services being prioritized using a process created by our clinical teams.”

Safely resuming these services is one of the best ways to help our communities heal, as they are critically important to patients. Locations that will reopen are:

Santa Maria/Orcutt:

  • Plaza Diagnostic Center
  • Marian Breast Imaging Center at Mission Hope Cancer Center
  • Mission Hope Cancer Center Imaging
  • Orcutt Lab and Imaging
  • Parkway Imaging

Arroyo Grande:

  • Coastal Diagnostic Center
  • Matthew Will Memorial Medical Center Lab and Imaging
  • Dignity Health Laboratory in Nipomo

San Luis Obispo/North San Luis Obispo County:
