Difficult Landings for Two Paragliders in Carpinteria

Two early evening-twilight paragliders experienced difficult landings in Carpinteria Tuesday.

We witnessed one paraglide rapidly dive into a spin just prior to landing in front of Carp High along Foothill Road. Emergency first responders were on scene within minutes of the unfortunate landing.
