Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a structure fire Wednesday morning in Lompoc, where a detached garage was found fully engulfed in flames.
Santa Barbara County Fire crews, along with Lompoc City Fire and Vandenberg Fire personnel, were dispatched at approximately 7:15 a.m. to the 100 block of A Street, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Upon arrival, crews found the detached garage fully involved in fire. Firefighters reported making strong progress attacking the blaze.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Officials are asking the public to avoid the area for the safety of residents and fire personnel.
