Deltopia Parking Permits and Restrictions in Goleta

Since it looks like the "celebration" happened this weekend, do we really anticipate them doing it again next weekend? I live in this blocked off area, still have my permit of course. Just wondering what the chances are of them doing it all over again. I don't think they have in the past.

As someone who lives in the restricted zone, these efforts do absolutely nothing but inconvenience local residents and waste a ridiculous amount of local tax dollars. Why is college kids partying treated as such a terrible thing? Let them have their fun and stop wasting our time and money on asinine efforts like this.

Gee, what a barrier to celebration this will be. It's a good thing that kids don't know how to hire an uber or lyft car to go to the party with a carload of revelers, after parking just past the excluded zone. Might cost a buck apiece.

I've got 2 little league games that Saturday at Girsh park, where am I supposed to park? In the past, "Deltopia" has always been on weekends that we don't have games, but this year, it is. It is absolutely asinine to inconvenience an entire community just because there might be some college kids partying.
