Long-time edhat readers may recall my fascination with the “Naples” aka D.P. Ranch area and occasionally sending Ed aerial photos of that beautiful area.
Seeing Ed’s 4/4 item about it being on the market triggered my hope for more public access.
Here then are an excerpt from the SB County Surveyor 2008 Rancho map linked in the Wikipedia page References to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, and a few of my aerial pix. The map seems to show how big the rancho once was.

Still pretty big and beautiful, as you can see from these thumbnails of hi-res. 2018 aerial pix (in the top photo). We can only imagine it in the Chumash era and before. Here’s a view of what may now be the Southeast corner with Bacara on the left.
Next, at top-left you can see the old oil pier next to Bacara in this pic showing the small lake.

Now, adjoining that to the West is what I’ve thought of as “Naples” showing 101 bottom-left and railroad top-left, with the small community nestled between. That large beach above the rail bridge with lovely bluffs framing it must be an idyllic Summer setting.

Last, a look toward where train and freeway converge on the way to El Capitan and Point Conception in the hazy distance.

Having enjoyed this stretch of coast so much from the ground and air for decades, my own hope is that at least significant parts of it can become more available to the public.
