I ventured down to Summerland beach Wednesday. It was devastating to see piles of burnt wood from the Thomas Fire intangibles in splinters lost homes. It will be a long time getting over this.

The strength of this wounded community will be put to the test. Susan, you have two options.. you can curl up in a ball and cry your heart out or you can not accept your surroundings, rally your neighbors, and clean up the debris!
