The new Santa Barbara is what’s going on. These things will become the norm now that we are becoming a pack em n stack em city. Tmfp in such a small spot. Thanks Helene, and Cathy will be no different.
Downtown SB is not even bearable for lunch outing. Drunks, aggressive panhandlers, squatters, empty storefronts, crime, violence, gangs, and now bodies laying in the streets. How will a Target store cure any of this other than give low laying jobs to 10 or 15 locals?
The stabbing was not a death, the ped fatality was not hit and run and alley death was not a crime…so yes , there was a shooting death.
It’s horrible isn’t it the Homeless don’t know any better than to die in the streets….It’s all life and life goes on…
What’s going on? Stabbing death New Year’s Day, shooting death next day, hit & run death, this death in alley, and who knows what else during ONE WEEK.
I heard this was a possible medical. If so I’d bet the patient was sleeping on the cold hard ground without the protection of a piece of card board many people die this way…
The problem isn’t that people are talking about it. The problem is that lawlessness, thus deaths, is happening.
