Our tv switched itself to CSPAN this morning at 11:20. I couldn’t change channels, or turn the sound up/down, or tv off, for one minute. Did anyone have a similar experience this morning?
We have had this problem when we assume there’s some sort of emergency testing going on. We’ve asked Cox why our tv changes itself to CSPAN and receive no message whatsoever.
Is this some sort of glitch in the system? We know there was supposed to be a nationwide FEMA test at 11:20. Did anyone get a notification like ours, or any notification?
I guess this is the stuff you worry about when your life is watching tv at 11:20am on a Wednesday. Must be nice.
The message I got was “If this were a real National Emergency, this would not be the place to come for advice.”
