A driver sustained critical injuries after their vehicle rolled several times on Highway 101 near Los Alamos Monday morning.
At 11:36 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the scene with a ground ambulance and CalStar air ambulance. Crews discovered a single-vehicle rollover collision with one occupant inside.
A truck had reportedly clipped another car before rolling near the Los Alamos offramp in the southbound lanes. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and was flown to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via CalStar helicopter with critical injuries.
The other vehicle had minor damage and no injuries to the occupants inside.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
