Santa Barbara County Fire Department crews responded at 12:07 p.m. Saturday to a reported trail rescue off Refugio Road, where initial reports indicated a single patient with possible lower-body injuries.
Fire personnel from Santa Barbara County Fire and the county’s Air Support Unit, along with Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue, are working to establish access to the patient, officials said.
No further details on the patient’s condition or the circumstances of the incident were immediately available. Authorities said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
