Cox Cable Services Return for Some Customers

Cox Communications customers are now seeing their services coming back up in the aftermath of storm-related outages. This week, the severe storms and mudslides that hit Santa Barbara County impacted video, internet, phone and home security services to some Cox Communications residential and business customers.

While many customers have seen services come back online, Cox teams continue working around the clock to restore service to all of its customers.

The majority of Cox customers in the county were not impacted and continued to have service, however, customers in some of the hardest hit neighborhoods have been experiencing service outages due to network damage caused by the storms and mudslides.

The company has been working with the County of Santa Barbara and local emergency agencies as it makes necessary repairs for complete service restoration.

The severe storms and mudslides that hit Santa Barbara County have impacted video, internet, phone and home security services to some Cox Communications residential and business customers.

While the majority of our customers are not impacted and continue to have service, some customers are experiencing service outages. In some instances, customers may have power in their home, but are still unable to access their Cox services due to network damage from the storm.

Our number one priority is the safety of our customers, employees and community, and we are working to restore service as soon as possible.

With road closures, evacuations and mudslides, we have had limited access to impacted areas to make necessary repairs and restore service to impacted customers. However, we are working with the County of Santa Barbara and local emergency agencies and are on standby to immediately begin service restoration once we have access to impacted areas and the ability to make repairs. We will work around the clock to restore service to customers as quickly as possible.
