County Supervisors Announce Public Meeting on ICE

If you cannot attend for whatever reason, email your comment with instructions that your email be included in the public record. May I suggest that you also request a topic specific special hearing on ICE in South County Santa Barbara. The last hearing was held in Santa Maria ; few besides me attended. It is time to get the position of every elected official on the record, whatever their individual positions on ICE, the federal government, laws, oaths of office, the US Constitution, and unlawful residency. Our separately elected District Attorney and Sheriff have stated their positions to NOT uphold their Oaths of Office or the laws of the United States of America. Both assure unlawful residents they are a special protected class of residents above US Citizens. Each was RE-elected. Every public elected Council Rep, Supervisor, Judge, Tax Assessor, Assembly, Senate, School Board, Water and Sewer Director, needs to make their position known. Full transparency is not too much to ask. Congressman Salud Carbajal has made his positions clear. He supports unlawful residents remaining , does not prioritize foreigners applying for entry and citizenship over those entering unlawfully, and Salud supports birthright citizenship for children with neither parent a US Citizen or “subject to the jurisdiction of the United States”. His honesty, his transparency is admirable. What are the positions of every one of our other elected officials?

County Supervisors Announce Public Meeting on ICE

Does not matter what the public at large think about this issue. That is is a last minute post when most working people are working (paying huge taxes in CA) and unable to attend matter not... Bottom line is our "representative politicans" would NEVER appear to be biased or be somehow on the side of FEDERAL LAWS that are interpreted by the media, liberals and knee-jerk -calling-racist-crowd as being anti "fill in the blank..." Welcome to California.
