A structure fire broke out Tuesday morning at a single-story family residence on the 1300 block of Deer Trail Lane in Santa Ynez.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the blaze was reported at approximately 9:55 a.m.
A first alarm fire was issued as the fire started in the garage and extended into the attic. Crews were able to knock the fire down at 10:35 a.m. keeping it contained to those two areas.
All occupants of the home safely self-evacuated prior to the arrival of fire crews, and no injuries have been reported.
One resident is reportedly displaced due to fire damage.

Firefighters will continue to work on the scene and mop-up hot spots and investigate for the extension of fire damage throughout the structure.
Residents in the area are advised to avoid the vicinity as emergency personnel remain active at the scene.
The cause is under investigation.
