Community Meetings on Storm Readiness

Santa Barbara County is hosting three community informational meetings on winter storm readiness, emergency alerting and preparedness. The community is invited to hear new information and view the revised risk hazard and evacuation map that was presented in October.

MEETING DATES

Wednesday, December 5 at 5:30pm in Carpinteria
Veterans Memorial Building (941 Walnut Avenue)
Presented in English with Spanish interpretation available.

Monday, December 10 at 5:30pm in Carpinteria (presented in Spanish)
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (1532 Linden Avenue)
Childcare will be provided and English interpretation will be available.

Wednesday, December 12 at 5:30pm in Montecito
Montecito Union School (385 San Ysidro Road)
Presented in English.

If you cannot attend, the December 5 and 12 meetings will be broadcast live on CSBTV cable channel 20. All three meetings will also be available to watch on the County’s Facebook page (@countyofsb) and a video of each meeting will be posted on the County’s YouTube channel at YouTube.com/user/CSBTV20.
