Commercial Structure Fire in Buellton

Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded to an industrial structure fire off Highway 101 in Buellton on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were on scene at 400 S. Highway 101 Buellton for a double-wide trailer fully involved in flames with heavy black smoke that could be seen from the roadway.

Initial reports stated there was some type of propane tank explosion but Santa Barbara County Fire Department Public Information Officer Dave Zaniboni confirmed there was not an explosion.

The trailer was located on Granite Construction property. There were no injuries, but the trailer was deemed a total loss. 

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation.
