Colorized Mission

By Joe DeLise
Here's my next historical photo colorization attempt. The original is located in the Edson Smith Photo Collection at the SBPL.
I prefer colorizing old images that have features that are still visible today...makes it more relevant for the readers. However, it makes it tougher to find an image to use in the first place!

Sep 16, 2022 09:53 AMI love the original B&W, but what you've done with color is equally beautiful in a different way. I volunteer weekly at the Rose Garden, and now I'll have a new/old panorama to visualize as I look across the open lawn area toward the Mission. Thanks!

Sep 16, 2022 10:17 AMI sure wish that old SB was still like that to this very day. I do remember what SB looked like in 1959 when I was 3. Beautiful, low population, nice and quiet.
