Coast Guard Searching for Dinghy Owner

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for the owner of an 8-foot white inflatable dinghy found near the Channel Islands.

The dinghy was found adrift near Sandy Point on Santa Rosa Island.

It’s unclear when the dinghy was found but the Coast Guard issued a call out through social media on Tuesday evening.

A bag of what appears to be shoes and gear were also found on the boat.
