Coast by Air

Along our coast Tuesday we saw two great blue herons flying the Salt Marsh near where debris lined the creek. Miramar construction racing toward completion after years of inaction. The drought-starved Bird Refuge is a serene blue. Out at the Gaviota oil refinery there’s some sort of big dig (remediation where the storage tanks were?). We even saw three gray whales, including this one that posed for a snap to cap it all.
