Clearing Storm

A cold, windy, but welcome, winter storm brought much-needed rain to the South Coast. Our backyard rain gauge recorded 6 inches. That was enough to make nearby Laguna Blanca look like a lake again after a long dry spell. Water birds were having a great time as the storm cleared this afternoon, January 29.
