The California Highway Patrol issued a traffic alert at 1:30 p.m. Monday, reporting reduced visibility on southbound U.S. 101 north of Mariposa Reina as drivers experienced fogged windshields.
CHP Santa Barbara said several vehicles had slowed and activated hazard lights in the area.
Motorists were urged to slow down and use their defroster or air conditioning directed at the windshield to prevent fogging.
No collisions were immediately reported. Drivers should expect slower traffic and use caution through the area.
