Does anyone know where I can find a rendering for the new Chino St boulevard proposal? As I understand it, part of the Bicycle Master Plan is the make Chino St inoperable by car, only bikes. I’m curious to see how that’s supposed to look for parking and the homes there, as well as the strain it will put on side streets.

Actually I obviously read the post as I explained that I didn’t read the plan but could immediately allay some of their fear that the street would be impassable by anything but bicycles. If you read the following posts you will see that they confirm my prognostications regarding ingress and egress of emergency vehicles.
It would have to still be operable by cars of people living there, cops, AMR and fire. So I guess you’re not understanding it and not living in the area I haven’t the need to check out the plan.
So now all car traffic on Chino will be diverted to the already way-overused San Andres Street. How wonderful. The City officials who approved this abortion should be run out of town. If 50 bikes a day use this new “boulevard” I’d be surprised.
