Chiang Makes Campaign Stop in Santa Barbara on Memorial Day

Gubernatorial candidate John Chiang spoke to a standing room only crowd at the Veterans Memorial Building during a Memorial Day event Monday. He spoke of the service, dedication and sacrifices by soldiers who have served our nation.  Even though he is on the campaign trail for Governor, Chaing, the State Treasurer, kept his comments specifically on Memorial Day. Afterwards, he served food from the Organic Soup Kitchen with a volunteer staff.  Chiang made a special trip to Santa Barbara at the request of the local veterans council who organized the event.
