ANSWER

Guessing has now closed and the points have been awarded. Did you find the red and white S? Any local or tourist has surely walked all over it at Stearn’s Wharf. Since there are 2 very similar painted compasses on the wharf, we accepted both answers. However, just submitting “pier” did not count as there is the Goleta Pier. We did, however, accept Santa Barbara Pier.
