Cat of the Week: Waffle House (Photo: SB Humane)

Hi there! My name is Waffle House and I’m at the Santa Maria Campus. I’m a 2 month old old female Domestic Shorthair who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home.

At just two months, I’m small but bold,
A ball of fluff with a heart of gold.
My paws are tiny, my eyes are wide,
But don’t be fooled, there’s sass inside!

I pounce with purpose, I zoom with flair,
I’ll climb your couch, then steal your chair.
Got toys? I’ll chase them, fierce and fast,
But snuggles? Hmm… we’ll get there—last.

A tiny tiger with a spicy streak,
I hiss, I bounce, I hide, I peek.
But give me time and gentle care,
And I might just curl up right on your chair.

So if you’re cool with a kitten queen,
Who’s cute, chaotic, and sometimes sassy,
Let’s make a deal, come meet me soon,
I’ll steal your heart by this afternoon.

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
