Hi there! My name is Sussie and I’m at the Santa Maria Campus. I’m a 5 month old female Domestic Shorthair who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home.

I have lived with other cats and enjoy a nice kitten wrestle with it is said that I am outgoing friendly.I have been around a medium size dog and was able to coexist.

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

  1. I’ve been told that one should not give cats names with lots of S sounds, because it sounds like hissing to them. Anyone have experience with this? (Of course, most cats don’t pay much attention to their names, and people often end up calling them by nicknames instead.)
