Hi! My name is Pixel and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 3 month old fe/male Domestic Shorthair who is eager for a new home!

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

    • Hard to believe, even for me, that my first life cat was a tuxedo male adopted from SB Humane Society when I was SIX…
I was in my 20’s when we had to put him down, due to seizures.
My very own life cats lived to 17 and 19.
I’ve had rescues since, and one special beloved who was 8 when I adopted her.
Now I have a feline partner of unknown age, who has a clipped ear (TNR cat). A neighborhood cat whom I fed dinner nightly for a year before I pet her. Now she hates to go outside; she only goes out to for less than five minutes while I make coffee. She loves to be touched; sleeps with my hand on her; on any part of her body.
      Patience and compassion pay off!
