You meet Mike, and you think, “This is a very quiet cat.”
And Mike is like, “Give it a minute.”
Mike is a three-year-old cat at our Santa Barbara campus who is feeling shy right now, taking things in, and moving at his own pace. His previous owner reports that once Mike is comfortable, he is talkative, playful, and very invested in whatever you are doing, so this calm, quiet version is not the whole story.
Mike enjoys attention, loves watching birds, and, perhaps surprisingly for a cat, is not picky about food.

Wonderful cat. Great commentary. Each week I repost these pieces on my facebook page, hoping someone will fall in love with one of these fur babies.
BUT…Santa Barbara Humane never includes their specific website, address or phone number. (which I add to my post)
How do they expect people to contact them with no information on this page?
Go to Google. Type in “Santa Barbara Humane Society”. It is literally the first search result…..
And with that being said, it would be easy for them and they should add a website and phone number to each post for maximum visibility. Glad you are reposting with contact info!
