There are certain faces in this world that suggest a person, or in this case a cat, has seen something deeply fascinating through a window and intends to think about it for the rest of the afternoon.
Lemy is a one-year-old cat at our Santa Maria campus, and she seems to approach life with the quiet seriousness of someone who enjoys observing the neighborhood from a tasteful distance before suddenly sprinting after a toy like she has remembered joy exists. She likes to play, explore, and spend time with her sister Luna, though one suspects she also enjoys silently narrating everyone’s behavior in her head.
There is something wonderfully specific about Lemy. She has the face of a cat who would notice birds before anyone else, investigate mysterious household sounds with great importance, and somehow turn an ordinary Tuesday into something slightly more entertaining just by existing nearby.
Come meet Lemy at our Santa Maria campus. We are open for adoptions from 12 to 4:30 PM every day of the week except Wednesdays.
