Cat of the Week: Kai

Let’s give a warm Bayside welcome to the newest student who somehow already knows everyone’s name.

Kai.

At 11-months-old, this Domestic Shorthair at our Santa Maria campus is bringing a very specific mix of charm and confidence. A little bit Zack Morris, because he can walk into any room and immediately take the lead. A little bit AC Slater, because he is all about connection, energy, and being right in the middle of things. And just enough Kelly Kapowski to make it clear that everyone is going to like him.

He is social, sweet, and fully committed to being part of whatever is happening. Kai seems to get along well with other cats, enjoys time with kids, and treats every space like it is The Max and he has a permanent seat at the table. If there is attention to be had, he will find it. If there is a cuddle opportunity, he is already there.

No drama, no nonsense, just a genuinely great cat who makes himself at home and brings everyone else along with him.

Come meet Kai at our Santa Maria campus. We are open for adoptions from 12 to 4:30 PM every day of the week except Wednesdays.
