Cat of the Week: Ice Queen

The thermostat says 72. Ice Queen says incorrect.

At six-months-old, this tiny ruler of frost has already established several non-negotiables: all blankets are thrones, all laps are scheduled appearances, and all toys must be dramatically conquered at least twice per hour. Ice Queen is friendly, social, and fully committed to a lifestyle that can only be described as “arctic royalty with zoomies.”

Raised alongside two senior cats, Ice Queen seems to understand court etiquette. She has also lived with kids and handled it like a seasoned diplomat, meaning she can navigate both chaos and calm with equal confidence. No history of biting, no aggression, just a cat who walks into a room like she owns the snow, the sky, and possibly your entire living situation.

Expect playful sprints across the house, sudden bursts of investigative curiosity, and the kind of eye contact that suggests she knows things. Important things. Secrets of the tundra. Where the treats are kept.

Ice Queen is available at our Santa Barbara campus. We are open for adoptions from 12 to 4:30 PM every day except Wednesdays.
