Gatita has been watching you.
Not in a scary way. In a “taking notes, forming opinions, deciding your fate” kind of way.
At nine-months-old, this Domestic Shorthair at our Santa Maria campus is equal parts curious observer and selective socialite. She seems to do well with kids who understand that affection is a privilege, not a guarantee, and she will politely excuse herself when she has reached her limit. No drama. Just a quiet exit and a flick of the tail.
Other animals? She appears to prefer a respectful distance. She has hobbies. She has standards.
Gatita is not asking for much. Just a home, a little understanding, and someone willing to appreciate a cat who knows exactly who she is.
Come meet her at our Santa Maria campus. We are open for adoptions from 12 to 4:30 PM every day of the week except Wednesdays.
