Carpinteria Company Ranked Best Place to Work

Procore Technologies has been ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in 2019 by Glassdoor, a website where employees anonymously review companies and their management.

Earlier this week Glassdoor revealed their 11th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, and unlike other workplace awards, winners are determined based on feedback provided by the employees.

Procore Technologies was ranked number 4 out of 100 and is the only company with its headquarters in Santa Barbara County to be featured. Their average rating is 4.5 out of 5.

They provide cloud-based construction management software to clients across the globe. They create real-time collaboration tools to help our customers more efficiently build skyscrapers, hospitals, retail centers, airports, housing complexes and more.

The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Carpinteria. They have 12 offices throughout the world including London, Sydney, and Toronto.

The business to win number 1 is Bain & Company, a management consulting company, who also earned the top spot in 2017. They were followed by computer software company Zoom Video Communications, and the popular California burger chain In-N-Out Burger came through at number 3. Other companies in the top 25 include LinkedIn, Trader Joe’s, and lululemon.

  1. Procore replaced CKE Restaurants (Carl’s Jr, Hardees) Corporate HQ. CKE’s CEO (Andy Puzder) was the guy who kept threatening to move the company to Texas if they didn’t get tax breaks or if California raised minimum wage for restaurant workers. They moved to Texas and Puzder stepped down. He was briefly considered for US Sec of Labor but ultimately passed over. Sad! Procore’s folks are highly compensated, super smart, and friendly. Win-win.
