On March 13, 2026, at approximately 7:09 PM, a 20-year-old driver operating a vehicle with wide tires lost control after colliding with an unoccupied parked vehicle on the 400 block of South Broadway.

The driver’s vehicle continued and struck a building, causing major structural damage. Fortunately, the building was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.

Authorities note that driver inexperience and vehicle modifications likely contributed to the incident.
