Caltrans will perform a grind and pave operation on northbound US 101 in various locations from Winchester Canyon Road to El Capitan beginning Thursday, April 17th and Friday, April 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This roadwork will continue Monday, April 21st through Wednesday, April 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Travelers will encounter alternating lane closures with delays not to exceed 10 minutes. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be onsite to ensure a safe environment for everyone. This project will improve the pavement conditions for all travelers.
This work will be performed by the Caltrans Maintenance North Crew from Santa Barbara.
