Cabrillo Boulevard Bridge Replacement

Project Update:  July 2017

Crews have finished water line relocations, and the concrete beach pathways that connect to the wider beachway bridge will be completed by July 3rd.  Pedestrian and bicycle access to the new, wider sidewalks and beach pathways will be fully open for the 4th of July.

Throughout the month, crews will work on creek banks, irrigations lines, and landscaping.  Please expect intermittent, temporary lane and parking closures for construction and equipment access. Please expect landscaped areas to remain fenced during an initial plant establishment period.

Fall 2014 – Summer 2017:

The Cabrillo Boulevard Bridge Replacement Project includes a new bridge, enhanced Mission Creek banks, and improved pedestrian areas.  Cabrillo Boulevard, surrounding businesses, parks, Stearns Wharf, and the Arts and Crafts Show will remain open throughout construction.
