Buellton Man Charged with 3 Felonies After Attempted Arson

Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce E. Dudley announced today that charges have been filed against Michael Lee Johnson as a result of a domestic violence incident that occurred on June 12, 2017 on Farmland Drive in Buellton.  The complaint charges three felony violations:  Criminal Threats in violation of Penal Code section 422, Attempted Arson in violation of Penal Code section 455, and Possession of Firearm by Person Prohibited Due to Conviction in violation of Penal Code section 29805.

The Arraignment is scheduled on June 15, 2017 in Santa Maria Superior Court, Department 9.
