A brush fire reported near Rucker Road and Calle Lindero in the Mission Hills area was knocked down Friday after burning approximately one acre, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched at 3:52 p.m. on Friday, May 8, with multiple engines and other resources responding.
The fire was declared knocked down at 4:30 p.m. Firefighters remain on scene mopping up and checking for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
