A box truck hit the train overcrossing on Los Patos Way Tuesday morning.
After 7:00 p.m., CHP and authorities responded to the Highway 101 southbound offramp and found the 30-foot moving truck stuck underneath the bridge.
City inspector arrived on the scene and the area was closed for a period of time while the truck was removed.
Signs indicate this is a 12-foot, 3-inch height. Locals know this isn’t the first time this is happened, and probably won’t be the last.

“Iron Mike” is the name of this old truck killer as it has taken dozens of trucks over the years. I always wanted to paint “Iron Mike” in script as they did on the side of fighter planes in WWll and paint a truck silhouette for each “kill”.
