Body Found Near Milpas Roundabout?

What's up? (Edhat)

On Sunday evening there was apparently a body found near the Milpas roundabout.

Neighbors reported seeing a lot of police activity in the area around 7:00 p.m. and were told someone had passed away.

There has been nothing posted on the news and no report from the Police Department. What’s up?

  1. I happen to be driving by at time and seen the body covered, I also seen a wheel chair which seem to be of the gentleman who’s always sitting at the south milpas exit reading book. I haven’t seen him at the exit since so I assume it was him since he is there every day.:::RIP to who ever it was….

  2. Tragic, this humanitarian crisis is not being addressed.

$24Billion towards homelessness is unaccounted for with no tracking to see if the mo day made it towards homelessness and if there was any benefit provided.

Governor Gavin Newsom was called out by a reporter after he continued to dodge questions about blowing the state’s $24 billion spending on the homeless.

In addition our City Council Mike Jordan thinks building a day hangout spot will solve homelessness. Not providing beds.
Our City expects taxpayers to do all the work. For example, why are City Parking lots that sit empty overnight not used for the Safe Parking program? There are plenty of City & County parking lots than could be used, but instead the they refuse to help.
The housing they’ve built have not address those in true need. It addresses the homeless person down in their luck in between apartments which is a very small number of the 1,800 homeless in Santa Barbara.
And why has the number of homeless not gone done in two decades?
Our government has no desire to address the humanitarian crisis in a meaningful way.
