A large cat (bobcat or lynx?) visits my SB creekside garden occasionally.
This still is from early this morning (Sunday)

OP here. Glad you like the bobcat. He (or she) first came to the cameras in early July. Two photogenic coyotes also stopped in around the same time. They'll be back.
The trail cams I use are called "GardePro A3 Trail Camera 20MP". About $70 each.
I got one in May, and another just like it in June. The garden gets skunks and possums almost every night, and occasional big predators. I'll post good ones when they arrive.

Lynx, as we think of them (not to be confused with our local Bobcats), reside in the northernmost parts/forests of USA : Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Maine and with a smattering of 100 or less individuals recorded in Washington state = Canadian lynx: Lynx canadensis. There are Lynx in Canada with Europe and Asia hosting other species of Lynx. The European Lynx is the largest of the Lynx family, topping out (weight) at around 64 lbs and are known to bring down smaller deer, among other prey.

All Bobcats are Lynx, but not all Lynx are Bobcats.
So, in this case, calling it either one is technically correct.
