Biltmore Reopens After Mudslide Repairs

Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara reopened on Friday after months of repairs and renovations following the January 9th mudslide in Montecito.

Known for its Spanish Colonial style, the resort hired a team of experts to restore the extensive landscaping and restoration of their back-of-house areas and guest rooms. Originally built in 1927 by architect Reginald Johnson, the property is now fully restored to its previous decadence. 

After a nearly five-month closure, the 22-acre oceanfront resort held a party to kick-off their re-opening. Throngs of locals filled Ty Warner Lounge and surrounding areas to support the Montecito community and businesses.

The resort offers a new 2,000 square foot Anacapa Suite overlooking the beach that will open in July, new culinary and spa offerings, and the Summer Tasting Series will continue with a lineup of local purveyors, distillers, and winemakers.
