Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Highway 154 Collision

A bicyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 154 near San Antonio Creek Road.
At 9:43 a.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the area with a ground ambulance and California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The bicyclist sustained major injuries and is in critical condition. They were transported to Cottage Hospital via ground ambulance and CHP is conducting an investigation.
Highway 154 was closed in both directions during the investigation.

May 05, 2020 12:03 PMWe've sure had a lot of bicycle collisions during this shut down. I would have thought that with less traffic it would have been the other way around. Stay safe everybody.
