I'm glad your alive I was trying to find out what happened and no one was talking. I do know from the time they arrived to the scene it was CPR all the way with not a second to lose they even rode in on the ambulance you were in great hands.

Bicyclist Accident on W. Mountain Drive

We heard the sirens, hope the bicyclist is okay. Dangerous section of the road, blind curves with cars going too fast and bike riders in the middle of their lane. After almost 40 years in this neighborhood, I drive very slowly around curves--both bicyclists and drivers get impatient, but better that than killing somebody. And many bike riders speeding downhill from the intersection with Gibraltar and Las Canoas don't stop at the stop sign at Mission Ridge/Hillcrest, by the old Sheffield reservoir--they just glance left and turn right without a thought to what might be coming. Cars either!

I've ridden through there at least 100 times over the last couple years. It's really not a very dangerous section of road. It's twisty and mostly flat which generally keeps speeds down. Basic common sense from cyclists and drivers should be enough to keep everyone safe here. Too bad we don't know more and I will refrain from speculating.
