Bees crazy about Hedra Helix, common ivy blossoms

Source: Edhat Subscriber

We decided to allow our ivy (English Ivy ‘California’) to grow vertically to screen neighbor’s house.

By encouraging its growth, it began to form blossom brackets and now are filled with bees.  Constant activity and an endless supply of bees. They bloom in Fall because the competition for attracting bees lessens.

English ivies are one of the top 10 air-purifying plants.

Pretty great
