Jul 27, 2020 10:15 AMI saw a black bear at McConnell's Ice Cream once. But it was back when the store was where Garrett's is now on State @ Mission and it was dang busy.

Jul 27, 2020 12:09 PMi also had a friend that scooped icecream at the mc connels near mid state where Mc donalds now is. her arm was definitely bigger on one side, and she could throw a mean fast ball!

Jul 27, 2020 12:04 PMAh, McConnell's. When I was a kid, my sister's best friend got a summer job scooping ice cream there. By the time school (September) rolled back around, the friend had gained more than 10 lbs and she swore her right forearm was enlarged, too. Dutch chocolate was my favorite.
