BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING…

* HAZARDS…Surf of 3 to 5 feet will slowly subside through this evening, highest on exposed south facing beaches of the Central Coast. The maximum high tides will be around 7 feet between 7 PM and 9 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Minor coastal flooding is possible over low-lying coastal areas such as beach parking lots and harbor walkways. No significant damage is expected. Dangerous rip currents are likely on beaches exposed to the higher surf.
