Bank Robbery at SLO Credit Union

WHAT: Bank Robbery

WHERE: 1220 Osos, SLO Credit Union

WHEN: December 21, 2017 at 1:45 PM

SUSPECT: Unknown White Male, Approximately 60 Years Old

DEPARTMENT CONTACT: Watch Commander

On December 21, at 1:45 PM, Officers were dispatched to the report of a robbery that had just occurred in the SLO Credit Union at 1220 Osos. The male suspect entered the bank and waited for customers to leave before approaching the bank teller and demanding money. After taking the money the suspect calmly walked out the front of the bank and was last seen walking South on Osos towards Pacific Street.

The suspect, in this case, was described as a White male in his 60’s, 5’-02” to 5’-06” tall, weighing about 160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a black ball cap with a black hooded sweatshirt over the top of the hat. He had a long sleeve, light-colored shirt or sweater on over the hooded sweatshirt. The suspect wore lighter colored, long pants and light colored gloves. It appeared he was unshaven but did not have a thick beard.

No weapons were seen during this robbery and there were no injuries reported. If you have any information related to this robbery you are encouraged to call the Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
