Attic Fire in Buellton UHaul and Auto Shop

Santa Barbara County firefighters knocked down an attic fire in 101 Auto Shop in Buellton on Wednesday.

At 5:56 p.m., fire crews responded to 653 Avenue of the Flags for a reported first alarm structure fire. They saw light smoke showing from the front of the building and further located a fire in the attic and walls of the structure. 

It was subsequently extinguished and no additional fire was located in the structure.

Crews remained on scene to perform salvage and overhaul of the space. The structure sustained smoke damage and content damage.

There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
