On September 4th, 2025, at approximately 3:48 PM, Arroyo Grande Police Department Detectives arrested a man for sexual penetration with a foreign object.
Jeffrey Bennett Bowers, a 33-year-old Arroyo Grande business owner, was placed under arrest after detectives conducted a thorough investigation into a sexual assault allegation.
Bowers was taken into custody at his business, SLO Massage Therapy, located at 210 Traffic Way Suite C. Detectives also served a search warrant at his business for evidence related to their investigation.
Bowers was later booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail for the following charge:
- California Penal Code 289(a)(1) – Sexual penetration with a foreign object
Bowers’ bail was set at $100,000. Bowers has provided massage therapy services in the Five Cities area for the last 14 years and investigators believe there may be additional unidentified victims.
