Santa Barbara Police have their guns drawn on a suspect in the parking lot of Sprouts at 29 S. Milpas Street.
Suspect is wearing a blue shirt, shaved head, Hispanic adult male. This is between Quinientos and Carpinteria Streets, near the roundabout.
This might be related to a vehicle theft that happened earlier this [Friday] morning at the Carl’s Jr. at 7 S. Milpas Street, but that hasn’t been verified.

Is this my perception only or has crime actually gone up a lot here? Attacks, shootings, drug related violence..it is very sad and does not feel much like the Santa Barbara it once was…
Crime rates are falling. Paranoia perception at work.
